Yes! Dickinson Square is a popular destination for dogs and people to stroll, play, and relax. Please keep your dog on leash at all times. Please clean up after your dog. Please keep dogs off the children’s playground turf area in the center of the park.

If you are hosting an event in the park for 50 or more people, you must obtain a Special Events Permit from Philadelphia Parks & Recreation 90 days in advance. Smaller gatherings do not require a permit. In either case, please be respectful of neighbors and others using the park with regard to noise, music, and sharing the space. Please clean up food waste, beverage containers, party favors, etc. and take your trash with you when leaving.

There are no public bathrooms in the park. The Parsons building is not staffed during the day.

Call 911. Please be mindful that emergency or police services may take time to arrive, and it is important to stay on site to report incidents to responders.

Grilling is not allowed in Dickinson Square Park. Please consider other parks in the city that have designated picnic areas.
